Background
An electrical contractor situated in the North West of Western Australia required backup power for a Sewerage Treatment Plant which was located in an area subject to cyclonic weather conditions which would regularly result in unexpected power outages.
Objective
The Sewerage Treatment Plant required a consistent and reliable power supply to avoid the discharge of dangerous raw sewerage into the surrounding areas in the event of a power outage occurring.
Solution
PR Power supplied a sound attenuated, 200kVA diesel generator for the site, ensuring back up power would be supplied to the plant in the event of a power outage.
